Tiger Tusker Trails (2 Nights and 3 Days)

DAY 01: Get picked up from your hotel and proceed to Margao railway station. Packed lunch (veg. / non-veg) along with fruit juice shall be served either in the rest room at the station or on the train which is scheduled to leave at 14:00 hrs leave for Udipi. On the train tea/coffee with biscuits shall be served. Arrive in Udipi at 18.30hrs. Get dropped to the resort by coach (15-20 mins. journey).

After refreshing yourselves we leave around 19.30 hrs. to visit the temple dedicated to Lord Krishna. This temple has got a history that goes back 700 years. Return to the hotel for dinner (veg. / non-veg.). Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: Your wake up call will be at 05.30hrs followed by breakfast at 06.00hrs. At 06.30hrs. we leave for Gajanur by coach to the elephant training school via the Agumbe Ghats. These Ghats receive the second highest amount of rainfall in the world. Stop for a short tea/coffee break. We reach Gajanur by 10.30hrs. Rogue elephants are trained at this school and then released into the forests of Nagarhole and Bandipur. You get a chance to see the typical life of the villagers in this region. 11.15hrs. we move on to Tyavarekoppa Tiger Reserve. After spending about an hour with the wild cats we proceed for lunch (typical south Indian veg. thali). 14.30hrs. and we start back for the hotel. Make a small stop at Agumbe Ghats to take in the scenic view of the valley. Tea/coffee shall be served on the way. Arrive at the hotel by 19.00hrs. and after freshening up a scrumptious barbeque dinner awaits you at the hotel.

DAY 03: Wake up call at 06.30hrs. After having breakfast we leave for the railway station at Udipi to catch the train for Margao. Tea/coffee and a picnic lunch (veg. / non-veg.) will be served on the journey. Arrive at Margao station at 13.30hrs. and get dropped to your respective hotels.
